Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 26, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Cybrix, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating as Fortem, collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our self-hosted AI-native Internal Developer Platform and related services (the "Service"). Because Fortem is self-hosted, the vast majority of your infrastructure data — Kubernetes cluster state, environment configurations, workload definitions, cost data — is stored and processed exclusively within your own infrastructure and never transmitted to Cybrix servers.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Email address and name when you sign up for the waitlist or contact us
  • Usage Telemetry (opt-in only): Anonymised feature usage events — no cluster data, no workload names, no cost figures
  • Communications: Content of emails you send to us for support or sales inquiries
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and referrer when you visit fortem.dev

3. What We Do Not Collect

Because Fortem runs inside your Kubernetes cluster, the following data never leaves your infrastructure and is never transmitted to Cybrix:

  • Kubernetes cluster state, node names, or resource configurations
  • Environment names, workload definitions, or deployment history
  • Cloud provider credentials, kubeconfig files, or API keys
  • Cost attribution data or cloud billing information
  • Container images, source code, or application secrets

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Send waitlist updates and product announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Respond to sales inquiries and schedule discovery calls
  • Improve the Fortem product based on anonymised, opt-in telemetry
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Cal.com: When you book a discovery call, your name and email are shared with our scheduling provider
  • Email infrastructure providers: For sending transactional and marketing emails
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

6. Self-Hosted Deployment

Fortem's core product is installed via Helm chart inside your Kubernetes cluster. All platform state — environments, workloads, cost data, audit logs — is stored in your cluster's etcd or your designated database. Cybrix has no access to this data unless you explicitly share it with us for support purposes. For managed cloud deployments (when available), a separate Data Processing Agreement will be provided.

7. GDPR & Data Residency

For European users, we are committed to GDPR compliance. The self-hosted nature of Fortem is specifically designed to enable data residency requirements — your infrastructure data never crosses jurisdictions unless you choose a deployment region that does so. For personal data collected on fortem.dev (email addresses, contact inquiries), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us at legal@fortem.dev.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure API key management. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. Data Retention

We retain waitlist and contact data until you request deletion. To delete your data, email legal@fortem.dev and we will process your request within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist subscribers of material changes via email.
